I got married in June , tried Phra Khanong , lak si, bang rak , Bangkok noi, and a couple of others i forget. All of them said that we must make an appointment and we were told 2-3 months . Ended up paying an agent 4k who got us in at Bangkok noi 3 days later. Got the certificates after about an hours wait.

I’d suggest they haven’t booked it yet as they don’t know when they’re going home. Really helpful answer 👏👏

Whatever , maybe my memories clouded, it’s irrelevant to the conversation though as if that branch isn’t going to give him an account it doesn’t matter what letters are on the visa.

I opened mine on an OA 90day visa. You’ll find every branch of every bank seems to have their own rules 🤪

I believe so , at least that’s what I had to show when I opened an account at Bangkok bank recently. I opened mine in the branch at the Emquartier centre near Phrom Phong BTS station as they are used to farangs there apparently , it was all done in ten minutes once I had the confirmed copy 👍

Click on notorial and documentary services and you’ll find what you need to know 👍 It’s a certified copy of your British passport that they require.
