Me and husband are off to Thailand in November to return to uk mid/end of January. Both British passports. Can you advise  the best visa options. Someone recommended 30 day visa exemption then cross a border to reset it but not sure this is possible. This would be over 60 days so would have to do this twice! Any advice welcome 🙏 😊

I do the same every winter. 60day tourist visa online. You can do it in bits then submit later- not before 3 months prior to arrival. Then extend when you are there for 30 days more.

You need a hotel booking for some of the time for the visa- it asked you who invited you. I book a return flight within the 60 days then change after arrival but there are other way. Thai airways always check mine. Go and play on the evisa site and start putting together to uploads you need then it will be quick and easy in September when you can do it. Good luck

Yes, the first visa exempt you can extend at immigration for another 30 days. Easy to do and only 1900 baht each. Then do a visa run to get another 30 days...you can extend that one, too, if you want.

Get a tourist vida from thr UK. Gives you 60 days and you can extend at a visa office in Thailand.

There are other options, including border runs but believe me, you want to avoid those if you can.

but a tourist visa is the simplest and least hassle for you.

Just get a proper 60 day tourist visa.

Ernesto Galvanmaybe because they will get a 30 day visa exemption ? And maybe because they have several months to look at other options ? The 60 day TV been the most fitting and takes less than 14 days to receive.

Apply for a tourist visa through the evisa system before you travel to Thailand.

With a tourist visa I'll receive 60 days when you arrive and you can apply one time at an immigration office for a 30 day extension, giving you 90 days total.

Please check with your airline as they may not let you board your flight without proof that you'll be leaving Thailand within 60 days since that's all the time your visa would provide you upon arriving to Thailand.
