Me and husband are off to Thailand in November to return to uk mid/end of January. Both British passports. Can you advise the best visa options. Someone recommended 30 day visa exemption then cross a border to reset it but not sure this is possible. This would be over 60 days so would have to do this twice! Any advice welcome ๐ ๐
TLDR : Answer Summary
A British couple planning to stay in Thailand from November to January is exploring their visa options for over 60 days. The most recommended suggestion is to apply for a tourist visa online, which grants 60 days upon arrival with a possibility for a 30-day extension at an immigration office. Alternatively, travelers can utilize the visa exemption option for 30 days, extend it once, and then perform a border run for an additional 30 days, which can again be extended. However, most responses emphasize that obtaining a tourist visa is a more straightforward and hassle-free approach.
