Sorry if it's been asked before. Does anyone have experience getting a guarantee letter and statements for visa ( extension ) from a different branch than the one you opened? Same bank obviously . Thanks

> Hi everyone!

I applied for a DTV at the Thai Embassy in Tel Aviv, and they requested:

*Please upload the original guarantee letter from the accountant of the freelancer’s company with his/her certified (English*)

The thing is, I don’t currently have an accountant since I run a small business. Can I just hire one to issue the required letter, and would that be sufficient?

Has anyone here had a similar experience?

Thank ya all!!

Hi Everyone. I'm applying for the DTV visa through Los Angeles and I just received the 'Request for Further Document' email for supplemental documents. I work for a university currently and was hired as a full time employee 2 years ago. The offer letter itself was insufficient, so I'm now putting together more documents (Employment Verification generated electronically from our portal, and a payslip that shows I'm a remote FTE) to submit. They asked for a 'Guarantee letter from the company implies that you work remotely' so I'm putting those 3 together.

I've read that LA wants a statement clearly saying that we 'do not intend to conduct any business in Thailand or engage in business activities with Thai nationals or entities, and also that we do not seek local employment'. How can I show this? I've drafted a cover letter to state this information since the above documents mentioned does not state this piece of information anywhere. I will not go to HR to have them sign off this letter and I also don't really want to go to my director for it. Is there any other way? Does it have to include a wet signature? Can I be the one to draft it on my university letterhead? Can I sign off the letter myself?

Thank you all for your expertise in this group.

Hello everyone!

I have a question for those who applied in Vientiane, in addition to bank statements have you also submitted gurantee letter?

The cartoonish post on the embassy's website only mention bank statements but I read that some also submitted guarantee letter, and I wanted to know if this is an official requiremnet.

Thanks in advance...

Hi, I have successfully applied for a DTV visa for myself and my family. The process was incredibly straightforward, and the consulate staff were very helpful and friendly. ❤🫠

Here’s a step-by-step guide:

Schedule an Appointment: Visit the consulate's website to book your appointment. Note that one person can submit the application on behalf of the entire family.

[members only]

💫Prepare Your Documents:

👉Passport

👉Photograph

👉Document indicating current location: just a booking receipt will do

👉Bank Statements: Provide 6 months of bank statements with a minimum balance of 500,000 baht.

👉Employment Contract: Submit your employment contract. If you are a freelancer, include contracts from the past 6 months.

👉Guarantee Letter: Write a letter guaranteeing the support of family members who will accompany you.

👉Proof of Relationship: Include documents that prove your relationship with accompanying family members, such as marriage certificates and birth certificates.

👉Pay the Fee: The application fee is $340 per person.

Wait for Processing: The processing time is typically 2 days.

Everything was smooth and efficient, thanks to the kind and attentive consulate staff.

I live in Nakhon Phanom, I want to open a Kasikorn or Bangkok bank account but I am finding it very difficult, they're asking for a guarantee letter from the UK embassy in Bangkok. I'm on an AO visa. Any advice would be appreciated, even info on the letter and how to get it.

Thanks

Has anyone here applied for the non-O visa based on marriage in HCMC? If so, do you know what exactly they mean by "Certified copies"? e.g. certified copies of blue book, certified copy of ID card. Also, does anyone have a draft of the "guarantee letter" to be written by Thai spouse. Thanks.

I plan to make a METV in Thai consulate Hong Kong. A "guarantee letter from the employer/organization" is needed from their checklist. But I don't have a job at the moment so "employer" is out of question. Anyone knows what can be accepted as equivalent? Anyone got their METV without one? Thanks.

Hi, i've read quite a lot here, but still have one question about the Multiple entry non O based on marriage with a Thai national, which i want to apply for at HCMC.

Their website says that, beside other documents, a guarantee letter written in thai from Thai spouse is required.

What should my wife guarantee in that letter? Is it just a simple "my husband is applying for a non O visa and i guarantee that the given informations are correct" or what else should this letter contain?

We just married a few days ago, have a 4 months old son and i am german, currently staying here on my second ED visa.
