Hi all. If it wasn’t for this group I wouldn’t be aware of some key bits of info when travelling to and staying in Thailand - many thanks to those who contribute.

The one thing that’s got me is the 90 reporting process. I’ve just been given the dtv visa and will travel in a few weeks but I’ve never received any info telling me about any rules and processes I need to follow. Just wondering what else I might have missed.

Is anyone able to share a link that describes anything I need to be doing while using my visa?

Also interested in anyone’s view on how I’ve missed the 90 day reporting. Should I have been following an official site / page?

Appreciate anything you have to offer.

Any Chinese citizens get DTV in Vietnam recently? My wife (Chinese) and I (American) applied for Muy Thai DTV 12 hours apart.

Mine was granted Monday and hers still says “Processing Pending Approval”

Hi, I'm heading back to Thailand for the 3rd time withing 6-7 months ( unplanned as I've been invited to a wedding).... I'll get visa exemption.... Is it ok to book a onward ticket to Malaysia (KL) ? Or do the neighbouring country rules apply for visa exemption too?? ..... Just don't want extra hassle with me being in and out a few times already.

Thanks!

Can some one kindly advise the best steps to follow to apply for a retirement visa in Thailand please

I'm currently on vacation here and wish to move to Jomtien for the first year, I am from New Zealand.

I intend to rent a condo for first year then go from there 😊

If possible best actions and any pit holes to look for thanks.

All replies gratefully received.

London embassy just said my husband has to be a UK resident to apply for the DTV. Nowhere on the Thai evisa website does it say you have to apply from your country of residence. I've emailed them back saying this and that there is countless evidence of people applying with hotel bookings, and asking for more confirmation. Did anyone else get a response like this?

Thank you

What is the difference between these two requirements?

Foreign Insurance Certificate as stipulated by the Office of Insurance Commission and Health Insurance of Thailand, which must be completed, signed and stamped by the insurance company.

Health Insurance issued by a Thai or foreign insurer for general illnesses, including COVID-19, with the insured sum of no less than 100,000 USD or 3,000,000 THB

I am in the United States now I want to go back to Bankok and get married and apply for a marriage visa. Can anyone tell me is it somewhat easy to do the paperwork without an agent? I am divorced and so is my future wife. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi, I went to the immigration office in Bangkok to extend my stay for another 30 days to finish my internship. I have a Non-B visa, and they told me I need to bring a "certificate and request for extension of stay from the embassy". I spoke with the embassy, and they said they don't issue that and no one has ever asked them for it. Did anyone encounter this or know what to do?
