Need some advise, as every consultant I reach out to won't answer a simple question.

For LTR wealthy pensioners visa, it says you need a passive income of 80k USD or 40K USD with an investment of 250K USD in Thailand.

All I need to know is whether dividends from my own company (essentially set up like a holding company), is considered legitimate for this calculation or does it have to be from a non arms reach source?

We are into Metal scrap buisness in India. I have visited Thailand many times in last few years . As tourist friendly country we are planing to setup company for sorting / recycling of metal scrap in thailand.

Is it possible and if yes , does anyone now the procedures how to setup company, visa process, open bank accounts.

I am new to the group and I am amazed at what a shambles the whole situation is !! Rules seem to change on a whim, so many complicated rules and options. I have to question the Thai government and their policies, if they don’t want foreign immigration say so, make the rules clear and transparent. Like many other countries it’s all based on money ! It’s big business! Does Thailand not want skilled experienced people to bring their expertise and knowledge to benefit the country or is it just another money making scam !! Very very sad

Can I ask how someone can buy a condo in Thailand if they can't have a bank account? Before somebody says a tourist is not supposed to buy a condo: I personally own real estate and know plenty of people who own RE in countries where they are tourists.

How would one go about opening a bar in Thailand without marrying a thai national. regarding visas etc, would it just be a work permit, and if so how would one make it a perminant visa?

Hello everyone, I’m currently staying in Thailand on a DTV visa.

I make my living through stock investments and have earned an average of $100,000–$200,000 annually over the past five years.

In my home country, there is no tax on capital gains from stock trading.

However, I’d like to ask:

If I stay in Thailand for more than 180 days, am I required to report my foreign stock investment income to the Thai tax authority?
