Wow, thank you to everyone for remembering what it was like when you first arrived in a strange place and needed advice. I’m sure you are all seasoned on how to maneuver the paperwork but some of just need a little help. I think I’ll take my chances with the true people I have met in this country. They seem to keep their snarky remarks to themselves and want people like me to succeed and not feel overwhelmed. Telling someone just do it yourself is not what I thought this group was for.
Thank you. Obviously I have got all of my information wrong about the Visa needed. My full story is that I am 55 yrs old, single, retired. I want to move to Thailand for at least a year and then if everything works out I will extend for longer period of time. The way i read the visa website I assumed it was a non-OA visa. Please advise me what is the best route for me.
Thank you. I am just trying to get my paperwork in order to submit for my Long Stay Visa O-A. I am retired military so I have Tricare insurance already and researching I found they are authorized in Thailand. One other question is concerning the financial requirement. How official does the paperwork need to be showing the financial proof.
