Has anyone moved their business to Thailand, or have you kept your business and residency in your home country? Trying to figure out the best way to go about this, thanks in advance for your help.

Hi, I have a question about e-visas. I am thinking of getting a tourist visa, I am from Canada but I will be in France . It says:

"Permanent Residency / Current Location

Your resident status in a country of which you are granted a residence visa to stay for more than six months."

if I'm not a resident of France, for example, does it mean that I cannot apply, even though it's all online? Thank you :)

Does anyone know if flying from an approved country to bkk, but transiting for 2 hours via Turkey which is not one of the 46 approved country is OK and allows the no qu’a estimé scheme ?

Moreover, “Thai nationals and foreign nationals departing from Thailand to eligible countries and back to Thailand are exempted for the 21 day requirement” —> I have been in Thailand for a couple of month on a Non-immigrant visa and have a work permit. Am I considered a foreign nationals, even though I do not have the residency statut in Thailand, as my legal residence is in Switzerland?

Trying to use the Section 38 app:

What’s expected and required in the following fields to register the Section 38 (IOS) app?

1.) House ID number? (Not address, house ID#)

2.) Village number?

3.) Road (if you live on a moo with no road name. (No road is listed on my pink ID or tambien baan). Immigration asked for it last time I reentered. I gave him my national ID. He left the field in the TM7 blank. I can’t submit the registration without completing the field).

4.) Other position (below Owner, house master, possessor of residence )

It’s required in order to submit it but there’s no drop-down choices or explanation.

If I sign up as foreigner, am I allowed to use it to report myself back home each time I leave ?

I'm a bit confused about the different types of business visa. 🙄 I'm considering the idea of opening a company in Thailand and before doing that I'd like to understand the details and logistics. As managing partner (me with 49% and a Thai person with 51%), what kind of business visa do I need? I've been told that with this business visa I don't need to leave the country every 90 days, correct? Do I need to be officially resident in Thailand as well or I can keep my residence address in my country? And in general, could you please point me to the right place to read more about it? Appreciate your help! 😊
