I am only interested to hear opinions from UK DTV visa holders, as it seems every embassy has its own set of rules, thanks.

This is my second attempt to get a DTV visa 😊 (my first try was in Penang this August). I’m currently in Thailand, and due to work, I’ll likely be flying to the UK in the next few days. I have a couple of questions:

1. Can I apply for the DTV visa online through the London embassy within the first or second day after my return to the UK?

1. For proof of residency, I have UK bank statements (personal account), a UK driving license (although it shows an old address), and *settled status* for living in the UK. Will this be an issue?

1. My main concern is proof of funds. My funds are in a WISE business account under my US-based company, where I’m the sole owner. This led to my rejection in Penang, as the account wasn’t in my personal name. How is this handled in the UK? As a freelancer, it’s common to use a business account, and with an LLC, the funds aren’t directly in my name. Despite providing proof of ownership, it wasn’t sufficient in Penang.

Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I am a UK citizen with a Spanish residency NIE card. I am marrying a Thai lady soon in the UK, and we would like to go to Spain after we marry.

My question is: does she need to return to Thailand to obtain a visa for Spain or can she apply here in the UK or can she travel with me without a visa because we are married and I have a residency permit.?

I am British and applying for a visa (non-o marriage) in the UK

The first is residence permit for county in which application is submitted - I have uploaded my passport again as I am a British citizen

Letter from spouse saying we are married still and they acknowledge the visit, is there a set format or will a short letter be enough.

Medical insurance for covid is this needed for the visa I am applying for? I have health insurance from my company but it doesn't explicitly say covid

Hello everyone. I've just joined the group.

I've emailed a question to the Visa section of the Thai consulate in the UK but they merely copy pasted what I had already read and did not answer my question.

I'm sure this has been asked before so apologies.

I asked if I could apply for an O-A visa whilst still in the UK.

Also, do I have to have a Thai bank account or can I prove that I have the necessary funds in a UK bank.
