How to get a Retirement visa 😞 n Thailand. What are the requirements. Wh/How do I get 2yrs or 5 yrs visa?

I currently live with my Thai wife and daughter in EU. I am planning to move to Thailand, where I would buy or rent a small hotel, resort or farm to have some regular income. Hello everyone, I left Thailand a week ago for Malaysia where I applied for a non-immigrant O visa (Thai wife). Unfortunately the process is longer than I expected. So I returned to Thailand with a visa exemption. My question is this : Can I return to Malaysia, collect my visa and then return to Thailand with the said visa ? Someone already did that ? Thank you

I ask this because Da Nang is part of the Ho Chi Minh Thai embassy area, so I don't know if I can move around Vietnam like that.

Hello. May I know if I can request E Visa page for already issued DTV Visa? Because I got mine before they change to E-Visa system. So I only have Visa Stamp in my passport.

What happened is the bank asked me to provide E-Visa page to open bank account (ttb).

Although I had explained why I don’t have E Visa they keep asking for it. The Visa stamp in my passport is not enough for them.

Just watching a YouTuber who says he's lived in Bangkok for the last 10 years, and doesn't have a Thai bank account?! Is this a wind up, it seems most of the posts on here are about the importance of opening a Thai bank account?

Hello, I have question to current DTV holders. Retirement Visa holders should report re-entry and pay re-entry fee when leave Thailand, otherwise the visa will be lost. The DTV holders also should report re-entry(and pay re-entry fee)?

Any suggestions on what bank to go with under the DTV? Do you get a bank card instantly? (I’m only in khon kaen for 1-2 days).

Right now I’m in isan but I’ll probably eventually move to Pattaya. Should I wait and open the account in Pattaya or just do it today in isan?
