Hello everyone, I left Thailand a week ago for Malaysia where I applied for a non-immigrant O visa (Thai wife). Unfortunately the process is longer than I expected. So I returned to Thailand with a visa exemption. My question is this : Can I return to Malaysia, collect my visa and then return to Thailand with the said visa ? Someone already did that ? Thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about the possibility of returning to Malaysia to collect their non-immigrant O visa after leaving Thailand with a visa exemption. A commenter clarified that the visa process is primarily handled online through evisa and that leaving the country could jeopardize the visa application, as the embassy may require proof of continuous stay in Malaysia. If the visa is successfully issued, it will be sent via email and will need to be activated upon re-entry to Thailand.
There is no "picking up your visa" because it's all done online through evisa. You're required to remain in the country until your visa is issued.
If the embassy contacts you for an interview, to ask for proof that you're still in Malaysia, or checks your Thailand entry history, they will reject your visa application because you left.
If they still issue your visa, it will come to you as a pdf in your email. You will have to leave Thailand and return in order to activate it.
