This is all weird. Doesn’t make sense. Already pay taxes in my country on the remote job. We won’t be double taxed. I guess it only is referring to those who made some income in Thailand and that income but then the DTV doesn’t allow for you to work in Thailand so.. This stuff I think doesn’t really apply or affect most foreign folks.

there’s nothing to argue about. I get it yes, we should and need to do that. But it’s still unfortunate that this happens? People are bound to make mistakes. Why are you so against acknowledging that? lol

It’s so lame they do this. Thailand is all about finding ways to grab money from folks so it doesn’t surprise me sadly.

if she is taxed and registered and everything about the business is from her country, wouldn’t it be considered work from her country regarding of where it’s shipped from? People who drop ship could be shipping stuff from many places in the world

I don’t have this verified, but I feel… knowing how Thailand works and just some common sense kind of tells me that you sign up and do everything to get approved for the DTV visa you pay the Muay Thai company, they give your proof letter etc.. then after that, I don’t think anyone gives a rats a** whether you actually go to the class or not obviously immigration is not gonna be testing your Muaythai skills, etc. The Muay Thai place got their money, so why would they care? So yea… lol

Don’t overthink it and complicated

Here in Thailand, they don’t think about things that far and keep up with it . Once you get it, you got it. You can probably end up just leaving or quitting the Muay and it wouldn’t even matter. so that being said just move on do your remote job if you find one, don’t even bother updating Thai government or anything like that
