TLDR : Answer Summary
After entering Thailand with a DTV visa, you typically need to ensure that the TM30 form is filed by your accommodation, and you must do a 90-day report if you stay for 90 consecutive days. There are differing opinions on whether this applies to DTV visas, with some suggesting that it's necessary while others claim that it might not be required based on individual experiences at immigration. It's essential to verify with local immigration authorities, as regulations can vary or change.

I asked the woman at immigration who stamped my DTV visa in Bangkok and she said I didn’t need to do a 90 day report, contrary to what everyone says on here so I don’t know πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

Any time you stay more than 90 days in Thailand, you must do a 90-day report unless published in the regulations not required for a visa category. Nothing is published about 90-day reporting for DTV visas; that means you must report. I believe for LTR visas you don't need to do as of now.

we have to the report every 90 days, 1st 1 in person in your nearest immigration office and then ones after can be filed online. I asked my nearest immigration office in BKK, and they said I must do a 90 day report. Make sure you get a Tm30 from whoever you are renting from.

If you leave within 90 days, no worries, it's just when you complete a full 90 days, it's gotta be done.

If you actually read the instructions, it would have been very clear that immediately after you entered with a valid DTV, You need to purchase a pad Thai from a government approved vendor, and get proof of purchase (usually known as a receipt) and this needs to mailed to immigration within 48 hours. Once the prime minister and the King approve it, you need to report to the immigration station to pick up your certificate. The pad Thai purchase process needs to be repeated every 60 DAYS, I repeat 60 DAYS or else you risk up to 3 years in prison.

Yes, you have to go around telling everyone you have a DTV and continually ask questions. It's similar to being a vegan.
