When this happened to me I asked this exact question in an email to the immigration office. Approved within a day!

Might it be because of child protection? Falang father removing child from the country I would expect to be checked.

I had a similar problem in 2019 with the new Phayao immigration office, they could not see my TM6 reference on the computer. I went to Chiang Rai airport immigration and they said everything was fine. Went back to Phayao and everything was magically fine there as well.

It is collectively the job of the immigration police to keep the database up to date. Keep pushing and mistakes will be corrected, not that anyone make mistakes.

They gave another document but the lady in immigration said it would not do. We asked at another amphur but no luck, they said we had to go to the amphur where we got married in bkk 19 years ago. No way do we want to go to bkk at this time. The immigration lady gave us a number for a lady in bkk who could help us an we got a lot for 2 by going to the amphur in muang phayao, calling the lady in bkk and handing the phone to the amphur guy. An email from bkk was sent and we were done.

Btw the creation of the pack of documents for EOS is being managed by the immigration lady. They have filled in all the forms and done the photocopying of my passport. We were tasked with getting the kor ror 2 and the photographs. We had to show her the photos on my phone and she selected the ones to print. We now need to turn up on the appointed day with the bank stuff.
