Well, depending on the Thai Embassy/Consulate, they may not even see any other page of your passport besides the biopage with your photo on it that you scan, as all Thai Embassies/Consulates *in Europe are Thai E-Visa system.

There may be a Thai Embassy/Consulate that may additionally request to scan all the pages of your passport and, even then, would not care if new or old passport, used or unused....

Another Group member has already made entry into Thailand with a DTV Visa at Poi Pet (Aranyaprathet) land border checkpoint.

As with any entry anywhere (land, air, sea) for any country, ALWAYS double-check any entry stamps to see if they are correct or not....

Remarks: the stay period (180 days) should have been 07 October 2024 to 04 April 2025 = the Thai immigration Officer mistakenly did not roll the month dial for changing to the correct month)....

Did you go back to the Poi Pet (Aranyaprathet) land border checkpoint to fix this October entry stamp or have already exit out of Thailand?

This Post is about Lao Visa on Arrival (Lao VoA), Lao eVisa, and Lao Visas, not about Thai Visas nor Thai Visa on Arrival (Thai VoA):

1.) Lao eVisa is only available at 8 locations, of which Friendship Bridge #3 (Nakhon Phanom—Thakhek) does NOT have Lao eVisa. However, if one were to make entry into Laos at Friendship Bridge #1 (Nong Khai—Vientiane) or Friendship Bridge #2 (Mukdahan—Savannakhet), at those 2 land borders, there is Lao eVisa available

2.) As for the price of a Lao Visa on Arrival (Lao VoA), it is USD $40.- Cash, clean, crisp banknotes. If you are allowed to pay in another currency (Thai Baht), then you will not get a favorable exchange rate and the price in Thai Baht would be about ฿2,000.- Thai Baht

3.) There are no advantages to Lao eVisa, except perhaps a smaller Lao eVisa, as Lao eVisa price is more expensive than a Lao VoA ($55+ vs. $40)

Anonymous participant Well, why did you put in the time, effort, and money (at least 10k Baht + 500k Baht in a bank account) to obtain a Thai DTV Visa, but not use it for 5 Years??

Personally, I understand travel plans can change and things happen in life, but 10k Baht or at least USD $300+ is no small amount; along with proof of at least 500k (~ USD $12k+) in a bank account is definitely not a small amount of money....

you can use your Thai DTV Visa for the first time in December 6, 2029 or later if you would like as the visa validity is 5 years.... and you can enter into Thailand anywhere (land, air, sea) where there are international Thai immigration checkpoints....

No problems, no issues as travel plans can change and things happen in life....

Hey, Thailand is a piece of cake conpared to USCIS+State Department (USA), OFII+MEAE (France), UKVI+FCDO (UK), or Home Affairs+DFAT (Australia)....

you can't hire relatively cheap agents to do visas or immigration things for you, you try to do things by yourself, but the bureaucratic details are confusing, everything is precise and no slack or leniency given, the backlog, wait, and queues are super long (years, even decades), and fees super expensive....just sayin'

in fact, so many want to travel freely, but because of visa or immigration queues (in the 4 example countries), they have to stay in-country for years to get approvals....

There is no defined "limit" to free visa exemption (60 days) entry into Thailand via any method of travel: land, air, sea, but any and all entry into Thailand is at the discretion of the Thai immigration Officer....
