I had a edu visa awhile back (2 years ago) but they didn’t ask me about it. I suspect the embassy is not privy to the immigration department’s info regarding your previous time spent. Bevwusey they had to ask me about my past trips instead of checking their system.

yes, was slower than other SEA countries from what i'm reading here. That said, process was cordial enough.

Doc check was everything they asked for on the website. However, they were ok with alternatives to prove I was staying in SG. Instead of title deed/rental contract, a letter from family was accepted (i stay with my parents in SG).

For digital nomad route, they also required evidence of past salary being deposited into my bank acount.

Visa fee was $500
