Both Ranong points can be difficult. Consider going on your own without a van load of other bouncers. Have a ticket for onward travel and 20k in cash. Even with all of that be prepared for the possibility of being asked to pay 500-1000 for your stamp. Andaman club is typically more amenable than Victoria point.

Nice. I've not been to vic point in long time. Always nicer at Andaman. Still curious if it happens in other provinces. Thanks Franzi.

As of early Jan 18 Penang stopped issuing 1 year multi non b unless you are owner or director of the company. Extension of non b with work permit supposedly can only be extended (no need for boarder bounce every 90 days) if the company employs/pay tax and social security for 4 Thai staff.

As there is no 'normal' visa perhaps should clarify...if you are staying 3 months or less a setv is enough. If 6 months or less a METV would be better and a multi entry non b would be best. The non b can be renewed/issued new each year and then you can get re entry permit to come and go as you please. There likely other ways to squeeze out an extra month here and there with visa exemptions and extensions. Wp not necessary if not working.
