Boarder bouncers to Ranong (Victoria point & Andaman club) with valid non b/wp and other visa types are often asked for bribe. Is this frequent practice at boarders throughout the country or just Ranong?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The community discussion reflects mixed experiences regarding bribery at border crossings in Thailand, particularly at Victoria Point and Andaman Club in Ranong. While some users report no problems or requests for bribes during their crossings, others suggest that Ranong may have a reputation for such practices, contrasting with their experiences at other locations.

Went to Andaman Club on Saturday and no issues whatsoever. Had 10k on me in case they asked but they didn't.

Ive used 2 different Cambodian and 2 different Laos border crossings for about 15 years, never been asked for 'a bribe'
, just did Andaman Club last week and they were absolutely nice at immigration. No money asked at all with none of us who were on the run. Very different experience than Victoria Point indeed. At least from my experience lately...

Nice. I've not been to vic point in long time. Always nicer at Andaman. Still curious if it happens in other provinces. Thanks Franzi.

I did a boarder bounce in July (but not with andaman club, took a private long-tail) without any problems. One with b visa and w/p, two with non o visas

OK. Going solo when group runs do not is better.
