Did the 90 day non o via Thai consulate in Sydney very recently. You must submit proof of the funds held in your Australian account. Its clearly stated in the e-visa process. I used a bank statement, which is what they asked for in the guidelines. Don't know if a super statement is acceptable.

spot on, i opened the bank account 2 weeks ago and dtac gave me the same document you describe showing full name and new number. Just had to asked dtac for it when I got my sim a few days before.
I recently did the non O 90 day bias through Thai consulate Sydney. It's all done online easy to do, you need to show proof of funds of 800k baht in your Australian bank in Aud dollar equivalent of $40k. Visa approved and emailed to me 10 days later. Cost about $120 fee to Consulate paid onIine when applying. Website keeps you posted on status of processing.
