The ETA will put a stop to all these issues, can’t come soon enough, take the burden away from immigration at the airport, and let people know exactly where they stand before travel. Speed up arrival process as well.
Singapore is great to visit for a few days, but after that pricey and same same and a beer is 5 times the price of Thailand, Bali if you havent been is a nice Island, if you plan to do PH then prepare to travel to one of the islands, Boracay is great, Palawan is also nice….Manila is crowded and traffic horrible……Cambodia and Vietnam also have lots to offer……
must have been a while back, I looked in 2020 and it’s banned, obviously govt or diplomatic connections will find help find a way round it or a very large bag of greenbacks…….:-)
Flew back with EK from Manchester last week, and long discussion about my plans, as I was returning on and EVisa (retirement) and they wanted to understand why I don’t have a return flight…..when I explained that I have lived here for 6 years and returning to get a new retirement O visa they accepted it, but not sure she was convinced……
depends if there is a flag in their system for the destination country in question. They normally have to clear the flag by saying they have asked, or they cannot proceed to next stage of checkin
