Hi Evan …went to CW a few months ago to renew mine . They told my wife we didn’t need the update letter because we took the original marriage certificates . People with copies need an update letter . That’s what we were told .

…. That’s a very good point . Not sure why a visit to immigration to renew / extend etc a visa can’t be used to start the 90 days again . I’m sure there’s a good reason .

I’ve always gotten a letter from a different branch . Same day service ...100 baht. ... wait about 20 minutes .

... I have to admit I was a little surprised but it’s useful to know that either party can do the collection if needed .

What are the requirements for a Thai wife visa extension regarding the bank statement and processing time at Bangkok Bank?

As Tod says , they will just look back at the required 2 months and they circle the date on your copy. Bangkok Bank are usually very good at giving your the letter on the spot (. Maybe 20 minute wait ) . I got mine at the weekend and then took that in on the Monday .
