Can I use my old passport with a Non-O visa for reentry to Thailand if I renew it while in the UK?
On a non o ( marriage ). Expires Oct 24 , Will be getting a reentry permit for a holiday to uk next year . Hoping to renew my passport while in uk . I presume the reentry is totally acceptable in the old passport on return and will be accepted the same as the expiry date in the old passport ? I have the form to transfer the Non O to new passport on my return .
Answer summary
The user is inquiring about the process of using a reentry permit from an old passport that expires soon, while planning to renew their passport in the UK. They understand that they need to show both passports on their return to Thailand for reentry and to transfer their visa to the new passport.

show both passports when you come back into the country and they'll stamp you in on the new one.
Then you go to your immigration office and get the extension/re-entry permit stamps moved.
