TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion highlights recent updates regarding the NON-O visa extension process in Thailand, noting that individuals can receive an extension until October 31, 2021, particularly for applications submitted during the amnesty period from September 27 to October 31. The extension aligns with efforts to manage immigration backlogs.

Actually ANYONE who is applying for an extension with a stamp that runs out between Sept 27 and Oct 31st (the dates if this amnesty) gets their extension started on Nov 1st 2020. That's why you have an extension until Oct 31st, <- a year minus a day from Nov 1 :P
