Hi and a happy new year to all the genuine helpers of this group, I came on a 60 day tourist visa and have extended it by the permitted 30 days I have applied for a non o visa based on retirement the kalasin office informed me that it should be ready by the 1st of January my problem is that my current visa expires on the 4th of January, with the holidays at this time if I do not receive the new visa by then will I have to do a border bounce? Many thanks John

Hey.

Went to Immigration at IT Square Lak Si today for a 60 day covid extension. They gave me an under consideration stamp and told me to return the 9th of June. Should I be worried at all? I did a covid extension before in January and they gave it to me straight away. Why do they put applications under consideration?

If they decide to stop doing the covid extensions after May 25th would that mean my application would be denied even considering I applied today and my current extension expires the 24th of May? If it is denied when I go back the 9th of June would I have to leave the country immediately?

I had a "Visa Under Consideration" stamp that said to return yesterday. I completely forgot about it until last night. I plan to go in first thing Monday morning, but don't know what to expect. Does anyone else have experience with this?

The visa office is Prachuap Khiri Khan in Hua Hin.

Thanks in advance for any help!

I’m on non o ( based on marriage ) which I’ve renewed at Chaeng Wattana without problems for the past 8 years . What issues arise please if I choose to renew it again in the 30 - 45 days before expiry , obtain the under consideration stamp and then go to the Uk for 2,weeks ( obviously I’d get a reentry permit ) but I was wondering what happens at immigration control on the return . Hopefully the under consideration stays ? And just go to Chaeng Wattana as before? Hope this made sense . Cheers .

Hi, all the think are a bit confusing, I just call Phang Nga immigration to know how should I procede with my visa "under consideration stamp" which say I have to come in person on the date that are write on it (11 May) ..and the lovely girl say that I have to wait until the April 30 for a new annoncement!! ..

I guess I should renew this "Underconsideration..." for an "extention of stay" and the stamp has nothing to do with the "extended Amnesty which will extended until july 31...I am right?

but, I was reading somewhere that soon you've got a flight, you have 7 days to leave the country, is that right too?

Trying to book a flight to an affordable price, but I don't want to be wrong with all this stamp story..
