TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation discusses a glitch in the online system for reporting 90-day residency in Thailand, specifically regarding the requirement to enter the same date for both the 90-day expiry and visa expiry. It mentions that the online reporting system has been down for weeks, although the appointment booking system is operational. An immigration officer suggested that the online reporting system might be fixed by late March 2021.

I went in person to make a 90 days’ report today and the immigration officer mentioned that the online link is likely to be fixed & be up and running by 25/ 26 March 2021.

This was said in person, no official note or whatsoever but for those who need to and can do a 90 days reporting online after the

March, this MIGHT be a glimmer of hope for you.

you're confusing reporting online (which has been down almost 2 weeks now) with making an appointment online to GO file a report in person ;) . <- which is the system that has the glitch where you enter the date you want to file your report as the date your visa expires :P

nope
@Rodo****
you don't need an appointment and are free to show up, sit in that car parking garage with all the rest of the people who are there without an appointment :P

BUT

Making an appointment will get you in and out of there in just a few minutes ;)

... hi ... interesting today . There were 2 people dealing with people who had booked online and there was 4 people dealing with those who had just turned up and were really quick .

and if you show up with an online appointment for a 90 day report you get a special queue card a blue one and you go straight in to the special desk that only deals with 90 day appoinment people.

It goes fast, but I guess depends on when you're there.

The booking appointment system is working (I did yesterday) but it’s the 90 days online report that is down.
