TLDR : Answer Summary
The user completed their 90-day report and is looking to apply for a marriage visa extension that expires on February 4, 2022. They were advised by immigration officials in Chaiyaphum to return on February 22nd to apply, which seems illogical given their intent to apply earlier. Comments from the community suggest that the timeline for the 90-day report and extension are often treated separately, and different immigration officers may have varying practices regarding scheduling appointments for these processes.

Some IO's will shorten your 90-day "next-appointment" to co-incide with your next extension date, so you can do both at the same time... Not sure if they would do the 90-day report 30 days early if you did your extension that early...
Stick to your original plan. Sounds like crossed wires an the person you spoke to could have been refering to the 90day report. They mighty do your 90 day report again when you get your extension, SOME offices do that. Most dont
90 day report and extension have nothing to do with each other, and rarely line up with dates. You must keep track of both and take care of both separately.
Your are absolutely right. I used incorrectly "new visa" when I should have said "extention" - Thanks for your diligence. It feels new when I get it every year because for me it's a sigh of relief.
…. That’s a very good point . Not sure why a visit to immigration to renew / extend etc a visa can’t be used to start the 90 days again . I’m sure there’s a good reason .
