Hi going for my 1st extension in early February, married to a Thai national and presently on the 90 day Non O visa. Our marriage will be registered over 1 year ( 14.01.21 ). Am I right that we will need to go to our Amphur to get an update letter saying we are still married?
Also what’s the current situation at CW regarding appointments, is it necessary or just rock up?
Pretty sure we have all the other requirements organised before anyone says that 😀👍😀

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is preparing for the first extension of their Non O visa in February, being married to a Thai national. They are inquiring if they need to obtain an updated letter from the Amphur confirming their marriage is still valid after one year. Additionally, they are seeking information regarding the current appointment situation at the immigration office (CW). Comments reveal that some users have successfully used their original marriage certificates without needing an update letter, while others mention the option of walking in without an appointment.

Got the ‘maybe’ required Khor Lor 2 today at our local amphur after we rang where we originally registered our wedding and they told us any amphur can do it. Cost 1 Baht and very quick too😂😄
Hi Evan …went to CW a few months ago to renew mine . They told my wife we didn’t need the update letter because we took the original marriage certificates . People with copies need an update letter . That’s what we were told .
we have the originals too but seem to remember information that if you’ve been the registration has been longer than a year, we would need an updated letter. I’d like to risk it but will get it just in case
I was in CW for same thing yesterday, Had my "khor lor 2" from 3 years ago (No update) , No question asked! they didn't even looked at any other original docs! the lady said, No need to waste time, it is covid time!!
the process was less than 10 min, but I waited in queue for 2 hours (dropped in, had no appointment).
