I have a discussion about the last valid day of my O-A visa. The immigration officer says the last valid day is the last day mentioned on my Visa. However, my agent says, the last valid day is the day one year after your arrival. In my case there is a differents of 30 days between those two dates. I think my agent is right.

Visa expiry question - after the second 90 days report, can I stay until the end of the visa as stamped in the passport?

to be more percise: next 90 days report due in 21st March, and passport is stamped until 27th of March.

Thank you 🙏

Hello, I would like to ask for some advice.

I arrived in Indonesia on the November 27th. I applied for the DTV visa on December 1. On December 12, the Embassy requested additional documents. On December 18, I received an interview email, and I attended the interview on December 19.My Current status is Pending Approval after attend the Interview.

My current visa will expire on the 26th Dec, so I am feeling very unsure about what to do next. I am wondering whether I should email the Embassy to inform them that my visa will expire on the 26th and politely request an update on the result.

Since December 25 is Christmas and a public holiday, I am also unsure whether any emails will be received or replied to.

If it is appropriate to contact the Embassy, I would like to know which email address I should send my message to. I would also like to ask whether it is possible to extend my visa here in Indonesia.

Thank you very much.

Got my DTV approved & flew into BKK the next day, had a female IO stamp me in. She looked a bit moody but no questions asked even though she took her time to look at my docs

What date does my visa expiry date looks like to you ? 20th June or 20th Jan, 2026 ?

If it’s 20th of June then it’s over 180 days that I got stamped in (190 days ?)

Please advise, if this will become a problem for me & how should I rectify this. Thanks in advanced !

Good morning. My six month visa ends on Jan 4th. I arrive back from the UK on Jan 1st. I now wish to extend my o visa to a retirement visa, but because of the long bank holidays, I cannot extend until Jan 5th.

a/ am I still allowed to extend? b/ do I have to pay a fine, and if so, how much?

My DTV VISA expires January 15th, my 90 day report January 14th. Can I leave on the 14th and not do a 90 day report? Thanks

Earliest date to apply for DTV visa?

Hey everyone,

Does anyone know what the earliest date is that you can apply for a DTV visa? I’ve been trying to find a clear answer online but there doesn’t seem to be any concrete information anywhere.

It seems like the tourist visa can be applied for up to 3 months before your intended arrival, but I’m not sure if the same rule applies to the DTV visa.

Has anyone here already applied or been approved who can confirm?

Thank you

Stamp on DTV visa looks incorrect.

I arrived on July 16, 2025 on a DTV visa. The stamp expiry in my passport is November 11, 2026?

With a DTV it’s 180 days at a time and the DTV visa is valid 5 years, so the stamp confuses me and I’m concerned it will affect my 90 day reporting.

Also, if there are any agencies that offer 90-day reporting service, let me know. Might be smoother if stamp is incorrect.

Hi all. It's my first time working as a teacher in Thailand, I got a non-B visa from Laos. My work permit is short and will expire on 30th September, however my non-B will expire on 4th November! Is it true I have to exit Thailand when my work permit expires or can I stay in Thailand till the non-B visa expires in November?
