For information , CW said it was ok if my wife ( Thai citizen) took my passport back by herself to get the year stamp after the month of “ under consideration” .also reminded us to get bank book updated and bring in a copy.

That's good I guess (if you want your wife to go for you)

Usually the person applying for the extension shows up (no need to drag your thai significant other with you)

The update the bank book on the date you go back has been a policy for a good long time on marriage extension
