I´m not sure 100%, but I think not all Thai consulates in all countries allow Non-O VISA applications for pensioners, only Non O-A .

I think there are reports from people that only were stamped for 30 days because They didn´t show proof of insurance coverage...take account of that .

it should be useful(I think) if he was asked for just health insurance or for health insurance only from companies included in the web longstay.tgia.org

As moderators say it´s still soon.There are different experiences and therefore not consensus between departments involved in how to procedure on this matter.Another point it´s not only to show insurance proof ,but to show insurance proof in a determined certified...I mean you could have insurance coverage, but your company could deny to fill in the certificated that you download from

Reading the attachement to the order about Thai health insurance,I think that, since 31 of October,in each entry ,you will be permited to stay for the period of your insurance coverage,(maximum one year)

yes I think you are right, I meant for the extension of stay the attachment to the order says that the Thai insurance cover must be bought only to the companies in that web. In my opinion this is the difference related to insurance coverage between the first request for a visa and the request for the extension of stay.

Thanks for clarification, and if I´m not wrong, you WILL need not only Thai health insurance,but also that insurance must be bought online to a company included in the list of the web longstay.tgia.org
