you can change from single entry to multi entry just go to immi and pay 4000bht and done.

they are proposing a multy entry visa as part of the process. You will have to leave the country after 180 days, return next day or later, pay 10k on re-entry is how I read it.

Unfortunately as an Aussie you still need the e-visa.

It’s very easy to get the e-visa on line search google for the government site as the intermediate sites are more expensive, just went last year. Cost was $50 then.

to be honest matey, in my meager opinion, they are loosing face every time they release fake news about something. I have also lived here for a number of years and every time I see it happen I loose more and more faith in the countries ability to ever stop the corruption that is in every government office. Not on the subject I know. Enjoy

TiT. This is Thailand. You cannot expect the norm here especially with expat bank accounts. Many banks are franchise's and don't understand the law. I had an expat I know do this and the bank told him they cannot recover as it says everywhere check who and how much when you transfer monies. He thought this may be the case in Thailand so he didn't do anything until he saw this.
