I didn’t print mine, I just screen printed it to my phone and immigration were more than happy. But I agree, print it and give it with your passport. Just in case your phone dies
I recently opened a bank account with Bangkok Bank. Needed passport with Non O visa stamp, rental agreement, 3 forms of ID and also proof of residency notification with immigration. They told me they needed to send everything to their H/O and it would take 2 weeks. I also had to deposit 800,000 baht, which I cannot touch for 4 months. They have now advised me they have now increased this period to 6 months for any new foreigners opening an account. It also took me 2 hours to process everything at the bank when I went to finally open the account. It was very painful.
I just opened my bank account at Bangkok Bank. I originally handed in all the paperwork 3 weeks earlier and chased them for an appointment to go back once head office had approved it. It then took 2 hours of paper filling, questions answering and computer data entry before walking out of the bank. I also had to deposit the 800,000 baht. And yes they want the money in the account for 4 months.
thanks Richard. That was exactly what I was asking in terms of charges. My question was, is it better to move via Wise or directly from my Bank as an international bank transfer. Seems the question got hijacked somewhat 🤣🤣
