Hello to everyone 🙏😊

Does anyone have any experiences with a cheap Thai health insurance which fulfills the requirements for getting a OA retirement Visa ?

I just need this insurance for the Visa issue. I have another health insurance which is not accepted for this purpose.

Thank you for all your help in advance.

And please say something when you know something.

🙏😊🙏

Hello Group, I’ve had a look through the chats, so apologies if this question has already been asked and covered. I’ve recently moved to Thailand and am looking for health insurance. Can anyone recommend a good and affordable company please ? Thanks

Due to an unforeseen event in my life, I have ramped up my move Thailand from next year Jan to April this year (8 weeks). I’m pretty happy about this, but snowed under getting stuff done in 8 weeks I was planning to get to over 10 months.

I’m at a loss what to do with medical insurance. I’m in the USA, a USA citizen and planning to come to Thailand on a 3 month Non immigrant O, tie up some loose ends there and then switch to a retirement visa in a few months. I’m at a loss what to do regarding health insurance. I’m losing my health insurance on March 1 in the US. I was wondering if I sign up for something like a Cigna Global/International Health insurance would suffice?

I’m not looking for my best option, simply for an option that would work and give me time to do some research. I’m a little lost at the moment.

Advice appreciated.

What are the current requirements at Chiang Mai immigration for a retirement visa? I understand insurance might be required but I don’t that requirement listed in my research. I have the $100,000 insurance policy (includes Covid) which I used to get back into the country last July which has 9 months left on it. Here are some examples of listed requirements for application.

A completed TM7 form. (You can download this TM.7 Form from our website)

Your passport.

Two passport sized photos (4 x 6 cm).

Copies of your passport and the relevant pages.

A copy of your bank book or passbook.

A letter from your Thai bank confirming the status of your account.

And this.

Must be 50 years old and above

Passport (signed copies of each page)

Non-Immigrant Visa

Departure Card TM.6

Proof of meeting Financial Requirements

Thai Bank Book (original)

Letter from your Thai Bank

Three(3) 4×5 cm photos, with full face taken
