As it stands currently you don't need new paperwork or bank statements on extension or re entry.
There are lots of rumors that immigration are planning to move the goal posts and start requesting new courses.
I personally think that won't happen as it would be a massive betrayal. But no doubt visa agents and immigration are dissatisfied with the DTV so it suits them to spread these rumors and in reality we won't really know until someone extends in a few months time.
My gym is looking at ways to protect my customers from this unlikely turn of events ... not quIte sure how we will do it but will look at course extensions with additional paperwork for a small admin fee
no way am going to do anything dodgy mate. I'm just considering a good way of keeping the customer from feeling cheated by moving goal posts. I might consider buy 1 get 1 free fir example. I definitely have not or will not be involved in any sharp practice
it puts us gyms in a spot though. We obviously want to help our customers get the deal that was sold to them. But if we fly out a cheap course they will be entitled to come and train for that cheap price. As we do actually sell muay thai courses not just the paperwork.
I'm going to spend the next few days thinking of a solution for my students should this issue arise.
thanks ... I'm actually a terrible business man but passionate about muay thai and the dtv has exposed many to my art. Those who didn't attend yet have helped me develop my gym. We didn't cash grab this opportunity we used it to create a better gym and business while facilitating people to stay longer in this beautiful country
