* People should really avoid Malaysia if going down the Muay Thai route. I am now being asked to write a presentation on another gym? We are "Muay Thai Fever" and submitted all the usual documents the request was "Kindly attach a picture of a Muay Thai gym or a presentation about Tiger Muay Thai." So of I go to research a gym 1000 km away to fulfil the embassy requirements for my customer. Because we all know we cant say they made a mistake 555555

TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation discusses the challenges faced when dealing with the Malaysian Embassy for Muay Thai-related documentation, implying that their approval process is strict and demanding compared to other nearby embassies. There is also a suggestion of frustration regarding the requirement to research a gym far away for proper documentation.

Just attach a picture of your gym then. easy

firstly we give gym pictures and a Google map ref in our documents pack and secondly they asked for a profile on Tiger muay Thai which is not my gym

So not that easy really. Do I write a profile on another gym or do I point out their mistake???

it says „OR“… so a picture would be sufficient. the gym name is most likely a copy paste error on their behalf.

I vote for pointing out their obvious mistake

From the start of DTV Malaysia has been infamous for being the most demanding Embassy to give approval. Definitely more "friendly" embassies nearby.
