Re Muay Thai Soft Power. A new evolution people should be aware of is some embassys asking for a cover letter from the sports authority. This is entirely achievable for any gym registered but it's going to cost ( one way or another) and it is going to make getting muay thai gym documents take longer.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Recent developments indicate that some embassies are requiring a cover letter from the sports authority for Muay Thai-related visa applications. This requirement is in response to the increasing popularity of Muay Thai as a form of soft power and can complicate and lengthen the process of obtaining necessary gym documents. Discussions also highlight the inconsistency in document requirements for freelancers and remote workers, and experiences with the recently introduced DTV visa for Muay Thai training. Users are sharing their firsthand experiences and asking about the implications of these new document requirements.

nobody knows why will happen in the future. But it’s entirely possible on ANY re-entry that the immigration officer will ask for verification that you are continuing with your training and possibly only give a 60 day exemption if you don’t have. Right now nobody actually knows.

That's been reported by others who have applied for and received the DTV visa for Muay Thai training.

I am still forming my LLC. They rejected the first name I selected because it was already registered in AZ. Now I have given them 10 names to choose from.

I have a long term plan to make everything ready for my DTV based on remote work and apply in April when I would be in the US.

I was thinking this too. Make my own LLC and employ myself. Should be easy, no? Doesn’t matter if it’s a new company?

There are no rules about how long a company already exists, but I think the longer, the better. If I were IO and I see applicant with just founded company and exactly 500K that is also there for just for a few days, I might think everything is only set up to get this visa.

Therefore I think like

says having a long term plan might be a good idea.

I think they will get stricter, the disparity of documents needed for a freelancer/remote worker with a soft power is ridiculous.
