I called the owner in Chiang Mai to ask for a refund, and she asked where I was. When I told her I was in Bangkok, she said that since she’s in Chiang Mai and I’m in Bangkok, I can’t do anything to her. So be careful, you might be the next unlucky one. The gym even threatened me if I left any bad reviews on Google Maps. The gym has great reviews for visas and advertises a refund policy, but when he asked for a refund, they refused. And that’s the reason why they have good reviews, because of Thailand’s defamation laws.

Hi I've entered Bali via the gates at immigration without a stamp last week and was applying this week for Dtv visa. I have the email of the e visa as a pdf and I assumed that was sufficient to show evidence but I've read contradictory views on that and the Muai Thai gym I plan to apply for Petchnumnoi Gym ( Sitnumnoi&Singpatong) via there webpage chat wasn't sure also, I have seen one post of someone stating they had the same experience but not any clear solution to the issue, I've been following this group and greatly appreciate any feedback. Does anyone know, if a husband and wife are applying for a DTV through a Muay Thai gym, is it enough for one person to apply to the program and then their spouse can apply by being the spouse of the person training at the Muay Thai gym? Or would they both need to buy a membership from the gym to qualify?

Details:

* Applied: Aug 18th

* Approved: Aug 25th

* 3 months bank account slips provided, 500k in all 3 months

* Picture of arrival stamp + selfie outside Hanoi Airport to prove being in Vietnam

* No request for additional documents. Status went from Pending Document Check -> Pending Approval -> Approved

* Ed visa canceled before I left Thailand, just to be safe

I highly recommend Wildcat Muay Thai gym - I have been training here for a long time and the owner helped me with everything, even set up the application for me and uploaded all documents, so all I had to do was log in at the end to submit and pay the fee.

What's the license ? I sent the whole letter written by my gym when I applied and I'm not the first one applying for DTV with them.

For the proof of payment, is a letter from the gym saying I paid enough ?

Question everyone. Can I use my address which is far from the muay thai gym for soft power DTV, where I enroll like 6 hours away? Cause I have paid 3 months advance and I wanna maximize it before I move to the actual place. Do you think it will affect my application? Interesting one for us this ( I own a muay thai gym). We sent him draft documents to check over for any spelling mistakes etc .. he didn't understand and submitted the draft invite letter which was unsigned / unstamped. We had also at that point, not given him our gym certification.

The embassy rang us and we explained. They approved without the rest of the documents being sent. Surprised me that did.
