thanks ... I'm actually a terrible business man but passionate about muay thai and the dtv has exposed many to my art. Those who didn't attend yet have helped me develop my gym. We didn't cash grab this opportunity we used it to create a better gym and business while facilitating people to stay longer in this beautiful country

yea I hear ya, but coz this hasn't happened yet its a gray area. Coz we still don't have anyone hit 6 months yet.

It's going to be interesting how immigration handle it.

I've got 30 years experience here in chiang mai I firmly believe asking would not yield a straight forward response, sadly

My gym is looking at a way to protect the customer from this development, if it happens. We must evolve with all the potential developments

I've not quite worked out how to do it in a way thats fare for the customer and the gym but I'm thinking it through

As I understand it the Ed visa is automatically canceled when you get the DTV

We had a person do this and it was no problem ( I run a muay thai gym)

He hasn't paid yet, I won't take his money until I'm pretty sure it's feasible

At first short courses were approved but very quickly most embassys started looking for a course that matched the length of stay... 180 days. They were also many reported cases of courses less than 3 months resulting in a tourist visa.

I run a muay thai gym and we have learned how to present a course in a way that it's always accepted. Done 90 now.
