Thailand is not mentioned in the contract. What is mentioned is, that I perform my duites remotely (I am a system administrator), weekly zoom calls (with company during Australian work hours), and flexible work hours.

Yes I mean only one. The last statement. Some people assumed we need proof of money going in over multiple statements. But I send only the last with sufficient funds.

The e-visa system. You don't need to send your passport in anymore. Just login and upload your documents. Depending in which state you live, you choose the embassy. Queensland has to choose the embassy in Canberra (but it's all explained when you login).

An extension costs 10k baht. But what if I leave after the initial 180 days and re-enter let's say 5 month later. Do I have to pay or I am just getting the initial 180 days again?

So I am in Philippines right now. No need to go to Manila and visit the Thai embassy for a tourist visa? I can do it online now? Is it possible to get the METV as well online?
