Just did my 90 day report on the DTV visa in Phuket, pretty straight forward, in and out after 20min, no cost involved for the reporting.

Documents:

Signed copy of Passport info page

Signed copy Passport last arrival stamp

DTV E-Visa printed (or visa label in passport if you have)

TM30, TM47

TLDR : Answer Summary
The process of completing a 90-day report for the DTV visa in Phuket is straightforward, typically taking about 20 minutes with no associated costs. Required documents include a signed copy of the passport info page, a signed copy of the passport's last arrival stamp, a printed DTV e-visa or visa label, and forms TM30 and TM47. There are inquiries about whether appointments are necessary, the stapling of documents in passports, and the mandatory nature of the TM30 form which needs to be submitted within 24 hours after arrival. For long-term residents, questions arise about the proof of bank balance requirements for extending the visa after 180 days, the costs involved, and the specifics of the TM30 and TM47 processes.

tm30 is what the landlord should fill out and what has to be taken to the tm47 when registering for the 3 month period. This can be done online after the second time, the first two times you should always go to the IMMI yourself.

TM47 is the report itself.

If I am wrong, this can be written down, you can find all the information about it at

You either get it in immigration office or you can download it from the Thai immigration website. It just states your arrival date and address.

Awesome mate.

Did you need to show them the proof of bank balance on 500.000thb? If not, you think they will ask for this after 180 days when its time to extend the visa?

tbh its much easier to just go somewhere else before ur 180 and comeback to thailand, why would u wanna pay 10k again and alll that trouble
Frank-Steven ***********
@Uchiha **********
True. But the extension of the DTV, like all other extensions, is only 1,900 THB.
Uchiha ***********
@Frank-Steven **********
i have only seen that u need to pretty much reapply with all documents etc.. for it

where did you see that its only 1900 THB for 6 more months?

The visa is valid for 5 years. There is no re-application. Extension is 1900 baht.

is the TM30 mandatory?
Gert *******
@Ha**
what if you travel around Thailand and stay in different places? do you need tm30 for each place? starting from arrival date?
Sebastian *******

@Gert ******
if you check in somewhere, the owner is obligated to file TM30 for you. Everytime. Shouldn't be a problem as is all online now. But you can just ask.
Rob **********
@Ha**
yes it is and it should be lodged within 24 hours of your arrival wherever you are staying, it is the owner’s responsibility, but ultimately it is you who will get fined if it’s not done.
Sebastian *******

@Ha**
Yes it is.

80 days til my second one😇

@Olav ********
You don't do a second 90 day report on a DTV 180 day entry stamp

@Graham *****
apparently I have to! My visa stamp is till February 27th but as I went 15 days earlier for this report my next 90 days report is on Feb 9th. If you wanna avoid that, and only report once in 180 days period, come right at the 90 day mark or a few days later. I know that for next time!

@Sebastian ******
ok, good point

Do they staple that in the passport? 😱

In many places stapling on a passport is big no no.
Sue **********
@Elías *******
Yes they always staple
Jay *********
@Elías *******
they stapled mine into my passport so I left it in there until my next visa extension and then the supervisor who did the extension laughed and unstapled it for me 😂
Sunny ***********
@Elías *******
no they don't staple with the passport. They just give the slip
