That was the design but people from everywhere have been getting extensions every day. BUT, as Ellie’s chart shows, the extension is at the discretion of the officer. A Plan B would be a good idea.

If the embassy/consulate in your country uses the e-visa system, you don’t get anything in your passport. They email you a PDF that you print out.

The 90 day report is for the past 90 days not the future 90 days. Hopefully you won’t have a problem.

I would say strange too. My non o visa expired 13 mar 2022 and my extension expires 13 mar 2023. Both from Chiangmai.

CM requires a MINIMUM of 21 days. Visa exempt (even with 30 day extension) may not be enough time. Highly recommend the Tourist visa (60 days plus 30 day extension if needed).
