Hi,

When you have received a Travel Visa…how much time do you have to actually use it?

Thanks in advance,

Keith

TLDR : Answer Summary
The validity period of a Thai Travel Visa depends on the type of visa. A Single Entry Tourist visa is valid for 3 months from the date of issue, allowing entry with a 60-day stay. A Multiple Entry Tourist visa is valid for 6 months, also allowing 60 days per entry. Additionally, each visa should display a 'valid until' date, indicating the last day it can be used.

The visa should have a valid until date. That's the last day it can be used

Single Entry Tourist visa is valid for 3 months from the date of issue by the Royal Thai Embassy/Consulate to enter and be given 60 days stamp.

Multiple Entry Tourist visa is valid for 6 months from the date of issue by the Royal Thai Embassy/Consulate to enter and be given 60 days stamp for each entry.

- thanks for this! It’s very helpful. Is this visa credit card size?

If the embassy/consulate in your country uses the e-visa system, you don’t get anything in your passport. They email you a PDF that you print out.
