So you are on a marriage visa not retirement. Book family.

there's a retirement visa and there is a visa based on marraige. Two totally different. If it is a Extension based on marraige you bring your wife. If its an Extension based on retirement you can go by yourself.

a lot of people do it. As long as all your customers are out of country you should be fine but I wouldn't tell anyone.

You are only allowed to be on one Visa at a time. With a DTV you cannot establish an actual business in Thailand and any Thai customers. Your business and customers would be online only.
