My signature is probably never the exact same. When I was dealing with Bangkok Bank and had to sign some paperwork they kept making me sign my name until it matched the signature in the bank book. Didn't even know there was a signature in it until the used a special light to see it.

depending on the office they may want a resident certificate too. My Amphur was ridiculous on all the things they wanted for a yellow book so I did not apply for one.
