And in my opinion , don’t cancel your application . You lose your payed fee and you are traveling about 15 hours. The embassy info gives

What hospitals can I approach for a DTV visa application using the Soft Power route for dental treatment in Thailand?

All depends on the embassy where you apply.

I got an online appointment for first consultation for a possible operation. Did make that appointment online at the Bangkok hospital in Bangkok.

Got a email from the hospital confirming my appointment and used that .

This was sufficient for the Thai embassy in Brussels, Belgium.

Most likely depends on where you apply.

I got my DTV with just a confirmation mail copy of 1 appointment in a Bangkok Hospital.

This was in Brussels embassy.

yes Thai bank account , but could be any account .

For the Thai Soft Power side of the DTV , there are no extra demands for employment or degrees for as far as is known.

Have to wait and see if any demands come for extra information.
