กะลาสี หมา I believe it will also be affected on whether you cut all US ties or whether you maintain a US address.

Many banks and credit cards require a US residential address (not a PO Box or mailing service) or they force account closures.

Just go to Bangkok, ask advice from fellow foreigners, google expat visa services and you probably need to split visa services for visa, bank account, DL, etc and real estate agent for accomodations but you'll have better choices by contacting multiple real estate offices.

I renewed my US passport in Bangkok. No problems.

*I chose to pick it when it was ready up rather than risk an issue with delivery.
