In CM ,if you have stayed in a hotel in Thailand, you can still use the online system as they do not check the TM30 but if you leave the country and return, the TM 30 is checked and I could not submit online. It happened to me and I had to go to immigration to reubmit one with my home address on.
This happened to me and the reason was that we stayed in Krabi,I reported later, no problem but still in Thailand, I went to Singapore and when I returned, although I was told by CM immigration there was no need for a new TM30, when the second 90 days came around it was refused with the same advice- go to immigration. It seems that while you remain in Thailand they do not check the TM30, but on returning from abroad they do and in my case the Krabi trip was the last reported TM 30 (by the hotel) CM immigration updated my TM 30 with no fine and now all is well.
I'm still confused, I've been here for more than 15 years on what seems to be a non O extension based on retirement, I got it here in Thailand. While I have some health insurance I am too old to get any Thai cover and western cover will take all of my income. What will happen when I go to renew my extension in February? ( I am married to a Thai if that helps).
I used it last week with no problem, an'approved' in about 3 hours . Remember to scroll down on the opening page and click 'I accept' That threw me when I first used it.
