Went to do the 90 day report today at Promenada CM . They now asked me to provide the GPS coordinates using Google maps. It seems it is a new requirement but no idea if it’s nationwide. So you will need your smartphone

TLDR : Answer Summary
A recent post highlights that residents in Thailand may now be required to provide GPS coordinates when submitting their 90-day report at immigration offices, specifically noted at Promenada CM. This seems to be a new rule, though not universally applicable as several commenters report that it was not required at other immigration locations, such as Chiang Mai Airport and Samui. The discussion around this requirement suggests a need for smartphones to obtain the coordinates, but it is stressed that this may not be needed in all areas.

I’m closing this down.
1. This is about doing a 90 day report, NOT about getting an extension of stay.
2. So far, this is only ONE report where they request the GPS location for the place where you stay.
3. For the online system, to my knowledge, there is no place to include the GPS address on the online system.
Ask your local immigration office if they require GPS coordinators.

Perhaps because you don't live in a readily identifiable condo or the such.

Glad I did by the airport IO at the drive thru window for mine last week. In and out quick. No gps just had to confirm my condo.
, yes and we draw the same map every year. But in reference to the provision of GPS coordinates , which isnt difficult , again there is no consistency as even the Airport IO in the same town, are not asking for this information.
