TLDR : Answer Summary
If you're unable to attend to your 90-day report in Thailand due to injury, you can send a friend or family member to the immigration office on your behalf with your passport and relevant documents. This process doesn't require special permissions. If that isn’t an option, you might incur a fine for late reporting, which is the same whether you're one day or up to eight months late (2,000 baht fine). Alternatively, try checking if online reporting is an option or contact your local immigration office to explain your situation. Some expats have successfully provided a doctor's note regarding their inability to travel.

In Bangkok, years back, they would send taxi drivers to do 90 day reports. It's my understanding that a representative, any representative, can do a 90 day
If not, a note from the hospital saying that you are not able to move should suffice. Many people have been in the same situation as yours, and got it done. Good luck and get healthy
On your online application did it say pending? If so give the immigration office a call on the 3rd and explain your situation and ask if they accepted your report. With luck they will accept it. Last week I noticed on Friday that my report was due the following Monday, it said application pending. I phoned them Tuesday and asked if it was accepted, he said let me check the computer, he came back and said yes. This was the Kalasin office.
mentioned you can send a friend to report for you. If that doesn’t work out for you it really isn’t a big issue. Sure you’ll get a fine for a late report, but it’s a 2,000 baht fine if you’re 8 days late or 8 months late. Don’t fret.
You can send your friend for you to the local immigration office to do a 90-day report in person. A 90-day report can be done by your representative with your proper documents including your original passport without power of attorney or any special papers.
