TLDR : Answer Summary
Expat travelers are inquiring about the typical turnaround time for updates after submitting their 90-day reports under the new system in Thailand. Users reported various timelines: one individual received an approval after 5 days in Bangkok, while others experienced longer waits, ranging from 7 to 9 days. Some also noted issues with the online system not updating correctly. Overall, experiences vary based on location of submission.

My husband submitted his for Chiang Mai on Dec 8 and it's still pending. It's due on Dec 19, so he's going in person on Monday. Has anyone in Chiang Mai received approval for online?

promenada is very quiet and the immigration office there typically has one or two people applying for anything there. It’s safer than other malls

Jeff Blum Hubby received his approval at 20:42 yesterday evening. They must have been burning the midnight oil yesterday evening getting caught up for the week. Hubby was actually looking forward to a trip to Promenada to file. Thought he'd go there for a change of pace. Our Covid-restricted life is boring, but now that the numbers are down in CM, he thought he could risk the mall vs. the safer drive-thru at the big Imm office near the airport.

So, 10 minutes ago (21:15) I got the reply that my submission has been approved. Happy to avoid a trip, but wondering why it took so long and why your husband's is still pending if he submitted 1 day before me.

I submitted an online report at the newest webpage version. After 9 days at status pending I went to do it in person at Samut Prakan IO. This was on the 15th, the report was due on 12th. So after getting an approved report at 10:30am at the IO, at about 16:00 I had a reject response from the online system.

My app still incorrectly shows overstay, which I believe it pretty normal as TM do not update their database. Better luck next time I hope.

Next time I will submit as early as I can, 15 days before. This should give them a chance to process it. Going in person isn't a problem, and you have up to 7 days after the due date to do so. I wonder if it was a coincidence them rejecting after they had approved, or whether it was necessary in their system. As they don't give a reason and only tell you to go to the IO in the rejection email, I do not know.

I did read that someone waited 1 week then received a email with the new sign in date in PDF. But maybe admin can shed some light
