Jeff Blum Hubby received his approval at 20:42 yesterday evening. They must have been burning the midnight oil yesterday evening getting caught up for the week. Hubby was actually looking forward to a trip to Promenada to file. Thought he'd go there for a change of pace. Our Covid-restricted life is boring, but now that the numbers are down in CM, he thought he could risk the mall vs. the safer drive-thru at the big Imm office near the airport.
My husband submitted his for Chiang Mai on Dec 8 and it's still pending. It's due on Dec 19, so he's going in person on Monday. Has anyone in Chiang Mai received approval for online?
Once it's approved you should get an email notice. Check your spam or junk folder because it usually comes in there. Depending on your local office and holidays it can sometimes take several days to get approval of an online filing.
Check with your local Immigration office on whether you have to update your TM30 each time you return to Thailand from an overseas trip. Here in Chiang Mai we do. The offical rule is within 24 hours, but Chiang Mai has a 7 day grace period. The reason for this is that when you re-enter you get a new departure card number and your previous TM30 was filed with your old departure card number.
