Came into the Kingdom today from Cambodia.

A quick Kuppppp and flash of DTV on my phone. Straight in for another six months. Didn’t ask to see bank, didn’t ask for arrival card (maybe they have on their end) or any DTV files.

Hi all,

When doing a DTV Soft Power Muay Thai course & your first 6 months are expired, when leaving & reentering are there any questions regarding new class package or they just stamp & let you through?

Thanks in advance

I have a DTV visa. Instead of going through the hassle of extending with another 180 days, i'd prefer going out and coming back in (through air travel).

Would it be a problem if this would happen in the same day? I'm not on visa exemption. I'm on DTV.

Thanks.

Hi there, I got a 5 yr DTV (Digital nomad) visa at the start of the year. I was in Thailand from March - June. I have been back in the UK since (about 6 month) but I'm planning on moving back to Thailand in Feb/ March. Is there anything I need to do upon arrival? will there be any issues because i've been out the country for so long?

Hey guys, I’ve had my DTV for six months. I’m planning to re-enter Thailand for the second time on my DTV. Is there a particular airport you recommend over others? I heard phuket is not good for DTV entries.

I’m coming from another Asian country. do they ever ask for proof of the 300k baht in savings upon reentry?

Are investment account balances accepted or does that have to be sitting in a checking account?

After asking some questions during the past months, I think it's fair I share my experience this year. With a EU passport I arrived Thailand in May and left after 58 days for 3 weeks. In my August re entry, I received 2 more months. On October I went to the IT square immigration office and received a 1 month extension. Overall i managed to stay in Thailand for around 5 months with the visa exemption scheme. I just have good things to say about the overall process, my second entry in August ( where I feared some problems), was the smoothest possible, less than 1 minute taking a picture and figure prints, no questions asked ( a female IO). In IT square, arrived around 12.30, services were stopped for lunch but at 3.15 pm I was out with my extension, once more, no questions asked. I didn't had a past of long stays ( usually 2 months a year 1 plus 1 extension prior to 2024). But I have decided if next year I will stay as many months I will get a proper long time Visa.

I entered Thailand last week, got the usual 60 day stamp. I stayed 3 days and then flew to Vietnam for 10 days. After this, I will be returning to Thailand for the rest of the holiday for approximately 2 weeks before flying home.

My question is, do I need to do another TDAC on arrival back to Thailand?

My second re-entry on DTV this year. No questions asked. I did give them a DTV visa printout, which they fold and scan (god knows why should be just in the system)

I forgot about this new TDAC arrival card nuisance and had to spend 20 minutes in line and then filling it on tablet. I recommend doing it online if the website works properly (it didn't work on my phone)

Posting this because I see some fearmongering and entry problems from anonymous people.
